Sins of the Past

Eddie came back to us with another book cover request after his first online publication Constant Fear of Dying. This time he wanted a photograph of a typical old dilapidated Irish church and graveyard. He needed the image to have a sense of eeriness about it.

O Winston Link - Midnight Special

O Winston Link an American photographer best known for his photographs of the Norfolk and Western steam locomotives. Taken between 1955 and 1960 these images document the last years of the large steam powered engines. Link approached the management of the N&W line and offered to take the images for free if he was allowed full access to capture the images.

Butlins Mosney was a very happy part of my childhood. For a few years in the 1970’s we would pack up for two weeks and drive miles and miles from Dundalk. Well it was actually only about an hour up the road but since we didn’t own a car being in one was always intensely long and exciting.
