Joanne ‘Betty’s’ Limerick photographs selected by Kevin Barry for Ireland’s Annual Arts Anthology.
A selection of Joannes photographs of Limerick from the late 80s early 90s was chosen by the Irish writer Kevin Barry to be included in his yearly arts anthology Winter Papers 3. Kevin wrote short prose in response to the images reflecting on life in Limerick around this time. The collection was called 'Tales from the Analogue City'.
Later the stories were published in the Irish Examiner along with some of the photographs.
